The intermediate support is installed on the frame beam or the underframe of the vehicle body, and it is required to have the function of compensating the installation error of the transmission shaft, and adapting to the displacement caused by the Engine movement and the deformation of the frame caused by the elastic suspension of the engine during driving. At the same time, the rubber elastic element has the function of absorbing the vibration of the drive shaft, reducing noise and bearing radial force. The middle support is composed of rubber elastic elements, bearings, etc. Because the honeycomb rubber pad is elastic, it can compensate for installation errors and displacement caused by engine movement and frame deformation during driving.
The intermediate support usually uses elastic elements to meet the above functions. The intermediate support is composed of a bracket and a bearing. The double-row cone bearing is fixed on the journal at the rear of the intermediate transmission shaft. The support cover with oil seal is equipped with elastic element rubber gasket ring, which is fastened with three bolts. When tightening, the rubber backing ring expands radially, and its outer circle is squeezed against the inner hole of the stent.
