We know that for truck cranes, excavators, loaders, etc., the load direction of the hydraulic Cylinder remains unchanged during the entire working process. Let's take the crane luffing hydraulic cylinder as an example to discuss the control strategy of the double spool.
During the working process of the crane luffing cylinder, its force and load direction always remain unchanged. Therefore, we can adopt a control strategy of pressure control for the rod cavity of the hydraulic cylinder and flow control for the rodless cavity. The rodless cavity flow control is to detect the pressure difference between the front and rear sides of the valve connected to the rodless cavity, and then calculate the size of the valve core opening according to the required inflow or outflow; the rod cavity side adopts pressure control to make the Maintain a low pressure on the side, making it more energy-saving and efficient. Since we use flow control in the rodless chamber, the balance valve used in the original control system can be replaced by a hydraulically controlled one-way valve. This can eliminate the instability of the system caused by the balance valve, thereby improving the stability of the system.
(2) The load direction of the multi-way reversing valve changes during the working process. In this case, adopt "pressure control on the oil inlet side and flow control on the oil outlet side", and use pressure control on the rod cavity side of the hydraulic cylinder, without rod There is flow control on the cavity side. If the load direction is unchanged, because the flow control is adopted on the oil outlet side, we can replace the two-way balance valve with a hydraulically controlled one-way valve to improve the stability of the system. The pressure controller on the oil inlet side maintains a lower reference pressure, which improves the efficiency of the system on the one hand, and prevents cavitation in the system on the other hand.
